How to Rotate a Layer in Photoshop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To rotate a layer, you’ll first need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1.<\/strong> Select the layer you want to rotate by clicking on it in the Layers<\/strong> panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2.<\/strong> From the top menu bar, choose Edit > Transform > Rotate<\/strong> or Edit > Free Transform<\/strong> after which a bounding box appears. You can achieve the same by pressing the Ctrl + T <\/strong>shortcut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3.<\/strong> You will be able to rotate when your pointer turns into a curved, two-sided arrow. Apply rotation by dragging the pointer to the desired direction<\/strong>. You can also press Shift<\/strong> to rotate in increments of 15\u00b0 in any direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
